Bachelors in finance, business, hospitality, or other related field, plus 3 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with 1 Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling; 2 Indepth understanding of hotel real estate, finance, return on investment principles and accounting concepts PL, STAR reports, booking paceposition reports, balance sheet, etc, as well as traditional finance cycle Annual Plan, Forecast, etc.; 3 Knowledge of major hotel markets and ability to apply latest supplydemand dynamics to be utilized during hotel acquisition process including sourcing and underwriting. 4 Indepth understanding of hotel operating metrics, key performance indicators and expertise in hotel specific sales marketing, revenue management and operations reports.
