Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or Energy related field plus five years related experience. In the alternative, will accept a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering or Energy related field plus 4 years related experience. Must have passed the Professional Engineering PE exam. Travel may be required up to 10 of the time. Experience must include the following Experience in leading and managing multiple medium to large scale protection and control substation design projects with minimal oversight; Experience in using CAD programs including AutoCAD, Microstation and Bluebeam PDF editor software, or comparable programs, for drawings markups; Experience with RTU point assignments spreadsheets config files, developing relay settings using software including GE ENERVISTA, SEL ACSELERATOR, or comparable programs, and calculation software including ASPEN or ETAP and MATHCAD for relay settings coordination and analysis; Experience in working with substation physical design drawings and electrical component calculations; Experience in mentoring junior engineers and designers on PC wiring diagrams, cable schedules, small scale projects, and related technical subjects involving substation electrical engineering; Experience with electric substation field activities including power transformer, instrument transformer, switchgear, relay panels installation commissioning. Must have good written and verbal communications skills in English.
