Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an ABET accredited college or university plus five years of substation design experience. Professional Engineering P.E. license required. Must have experience in performance management supervision and experience as a team lead in medium to large electrical design projects with limited oversight. Must have experience with ANSI codes, preparing Bill of Materials, estimating design costs, design of electrical physical installation or protection, relaying and control, and training and mentoring less experienced engineers and technicians. Must have experience with Quality AssuranceQuality Control processes for electrical design projects and working with clients in all aspects, including physical installation or protection and control. Can work remotely upon management approval but must report to office in Austin on regular basis and as needed. Must have good written and verbal communications skills in English.
