Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field plus 4 years related experience, or in the alternative a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field plus five years of related experience. Must have Professional Engineering license P.E.. Related experience must include working with software including AutoCAD and Bluebeam. Must have experience with protection and control electrical engineering work for substations, including substation physical layout design, grounding and conduit design, electrical system operation, SCADA Automation, and associated system design. Must have experience performing power system studies including Load Flow, Short Circuit, Arc Flash and Protection Coordination. Must have experience with applicable codes and standard for substation projects, including NESC, NEC, and IEEE. Must be able to provide manhour estimates and schedules for proposals. Must be capable of performing quality assurance checks for substation protection and control electrical drawings. Must have good written and verbal communications skills in English. All applicants must be able to complete preemployment onboarding requirements if selected which may include anyall of the following criminalcivil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
