Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related field plus 6 years of related experience or in the alternative, a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field plus 8 years of related experience. Professional Engineering registration any state required. Must have experience in both medium and lowvoltage power system design. Experience required with code application on existing and proposed facility analysis using National Electric Safety Code NESC, National Electric Code NEC and IEEE. Position requires previous experience working with various utility companies construction codes. Experience required with QAQC for electrical engineering designs, utility coordination, utility work permit applications, and easement acquisition. Must have experience performing distribution calculations including load flow, fault current, and voltage drop calculations. Must have experience performing power flow analysis. Must have experience performing studies on roadway improvement plans to identity construction conflict and propose solution. Necessary software experience includes PoleForeman, AutoCAD, and GIS based design tools. Up to 50 regional travel required. Must have good written and verbal communications skills in English. Must have experience leading and training engineers.
