Identify robust system architectures that are scalable, manufacturable, and serviceable. Develop subsystems for microfluidic processing and imaging based on fundamental physics, physical models, and related design approaches. Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements by applying design control processes such as risk management, configuration management, requirements management and verification testing. Leverage strong communication and interpersonal skills to drive and implement decisions. Coordinate with crossfunctional project teams to ensure timelines are met and assist the team to balance costs, timeline, and performance. Work in a multidisciplinary team including senior and junior scientists and engineers. Build, troubleshoot, and characterize electrometrical subsystems for microfluidic processing, imaging, and analysis. Analyze system data andor signal processing algorithms to optimize system performance and troubleshoot issues.
