Must have a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or foreign equivalent and 3 years of experience as an Engineer or substantially similar position. Required experience must be with an international automotive manufacturing company performing the following duties for the manufacture of automotive acoustic and thermal management textile components plan and implement engineering projects using Project Management Software; design and develop all aspects of mechanical components, equipment and machinery for production using CAD software; train, schedule, and lead continuous improvement projects and engineering maintenance teams to ensure optimized production processes and successful new product launches; provide process and equipment maintenance of polyester felt productions lines using PET, CoPET and additives storage, pellets vacuum conveying system, PET crystallization and drying systems, dosing system, polyester extrusion and spinning system, filaments web forming, cross lapping and needle punching; provide process and equipment maintenance of fiber felt production lines using fiber opening systems, blending and dosing systems, air lay and thermal bonding systems; and lead root cause analysis of machine breakdown events and design countermeasures to prevent recurrence
