Working as part of the engineering team to develop tooling and best practices, including deployment procedures, test suites, code and commenting conventions. Maintaining existing features of software through code improvements and refactors, adding functionality as per customer feedback and suggestions from product managers in programming languages including Ruby and JavaScript and frameworks, Ruby on Rails, Ember.js and React.js. Writing automated tests in test frameworks using QUnit and Minitest to ensure the proper functioning of software. Building and maintaining software integrations that exchange information with other software platforms including thirdparty customer relationship management CRM systems including Salesforce CRM and Zoho CRM. Developing new features and functionalities for webbased platforms across both backend and frontend systems in programming languages including Ruby and JavaScript as well as frameworks including Ruby on Rails, Ember.js and React.js.
