Requires a Masters degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field. Position requires 2 years of progressive postbachelors related experience, which must include some experience in each of the following skills Performing structural analysis, including advanced 2D and 3D finite element analysis of structures by using STAAD Pro; Performing structural design of reinforced concrete and steel water and wastewaterrelated structures; Applying state building codes and standards including ACI 318, ACI 350, AISC Manual of Steel Construction, ASCE 7, and IBC; Creating and updating Mathcad, Tekla Tedds, and Excel based structural calculation packages for waterretaining and other affiliated structures used in water wastewater facilities; Preparing and reviewing technical reports, project drawings, cost estimates, and specifications; and Generating structural drawings in 2D or 3D, using AutoCAD or Revit.
