Requires Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Contract Management, Construction Management, or related field.br br Requires 5 years of related postbachelors progressive experience, which must include some experience in each of the following skills Managing project budgets from inception through to completion within regulated sectors, including detailed earlystage ROM estimating, contracts creation, implementation of Cost and Work Breakdown Structure WBS, evaluating applicable regulations and compliance processes, and application of WBS to bidding, contracts, change management, and final accounts; Managing the cost and commercial activities on circa 30 50 projects at various stages of life cycle and contracts from creation through to execution and close out; Project cost forecasting Timing of Purchase Orders, Invoicing, Work In Place, Contractual Liability, Asset Creation and cashflow management as well as having an understanding of the process for capitalization and depreciation of assets and the impact to the clients operating costs; Implementation of detailed Scope and Cost change management on all projects, interfacing with client for all approvals and ensuring contractual compliance; Procurement and bidding; and Creating and using benchmarking tools by using historical data to provide insight and inform cost management decisions.
