Must have a Masters degree in Actuarial Science, Risk Analysis, or a related field plus one year or Bachelors degree plus three years of risk analysis for insurance broking services experience. Must have at least one year of experience in each of the following 1. Placing healthcare insurance policies; 2. Assessing needs, designing insurance solutions, and negotiating with insurance carriers to obtain insurance coverage for clients; 3. Identifying and analyzing client risk exposures; 4. Leveraging actuarial tools to finalize risk transfer quotes, complete comparison of program options, and include changes in exposures, losses, coverage terms and conditions, and total cost of risk; 5. Implementing risk transfer programs, including a review of binders and policies to ensure coverage accuracy; and 6. Developing and maintaining business relationships with insurance underwriters.
