Must have a Masters degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Public Policy, Public Administration or a closely related field and 8 years of experience in the job offered or a related position. Must have 8 years of experience with all of the following municipal bond experience including ratings agency, asset manager, and investment bank; modelling using Excel spreadsheets; conducting facetoface meetings with financial management executives and financial managers; producing financial models that compute financial ratios; using accounting principles to examine and evaluate the financial records, balance sheets, and assets and liabilities of municipal bond issuers; reviewing statements and accounts for discrepancies, as well as assessing tax structures and compliance with payment, reporting and tax requirements. Must have 5 years of experience with high yield municipal credit analysis. Up to 40 of domestic travel required. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
