Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and two years of experience in the job offered or as a Database Administrator, Support Engineer, or a related occupation. Employer will accept Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and seven years of experience in the job offered or related occupation as equivalent to the Masters and two years of experience. Must have two years of experience in the following skills designing, implementing, and consulting with distributed applications; architecting, provisioning, and deploying applications to public cloud environments or onpremises virtualized environments using C, Perl, Python, or Java; experience with database architecture, performance tuning, and either Big Data or Hadoop. Telecommuting possible from Connecticut and Massachusetts. Up to 30 domestic travel required.
