Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or a related occupation. Employer will accept five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Bachelors degree and one year of experience. Must have one year of experience in the following skills IP networking fundamentals and the application of IP protocols; use of protocols and technologies, including 802.23, 802.1d VLANsSTP, IPv4 IPv6, TCP internals flow control, BGP, OSPF, HSRPGLBP, PIMv2, IGMP, LDP, TACACS, VPNs, MPLS, DNS, and HTTP; experience with either Python or PERL scripting; and documenting and coordinating the deployment of manual and automated tests for complex systems.
