PhD degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field and one year of research or work experience in the job offered, or as a Research Scientist, Research Assistant, Software Engineer, or a related occupation. Must have one year of research or work experience in the following skills mathematical modeling and optimization; writing scripts such as Python, or a related programming language to manipulate data; developing software applications in traditional programming languages such as C, Java, or Python; and experience with linear, integer and mixed integer programming and network models, and developing algorithmic procedures to solve large scale problems; and stochastic programming techniques.
