Minimum requirements include High school diploma any type, or its equivalent, plus 5 years of experience installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repairing cutting, packaging and processing systems for dairy processing is required. Plus 5 years of experience with machine inspection, interventions and modification of cheesemaking equipment; 5 years of experience training customers on the implementation, servicing, and use of food packaging systems; 3 years of experience coordinating, scheduling and coaching technical personnel; and 3 years of experience advising customers on technical solutions for dairy processing equipment. Must be fluent reading, speaking and writing German including technical manufacturing, engineering, and processing terms.br br ALPMA USA, LLCs parent company is headquartered in Germany and the majority of ALPMA products are developed and manufactured in Germany. The Field Service Manager position acts as a liaison between our U.S. operations and the technical team in Germany to resolve any technical issues with equipment and tools that have been exported to the United States and ensure that the German technical support team provides highquality services to U.S. customers. It is essential for someone with fluency in technical manufacturing, engineering, and processing terms in German to accurately and efficiently interpret the U.S. customers technical issues, questions, or concerns into German and the German technical teams solution, technical reports, and other correspondence to U.S. customers into English. Furthermore, this position is expected to attend regular conference calls with the companys German development departments in German; most of the attendees do not speak English.
