Requires a Masters Degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Civil Engineering, and one 1 year of experience in the job offered or one 1 year of experience performing engineering research and analysis of water resources planning projects; utilizing industry standard computer software AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Hydrologic and Hydraulic, modeling software e.g. HECRAS, HECHMS, PCSWMM, Innovyze Infowater, Bentley WaterGems, RiverWare, RPython; designing GIS and CADD; employing MS Office Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point; recognizing hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, data processing and statistical data analysis; understanding of other disciplines like structural, geotechnical or mechanical and ability to integrate successfully with them; providing decision support system planning, optimization, and drought and climate change analysis; and recognizing hydrologic and hydraulic principles including open channel flow and pumping and distribution system calculations, water system modeling and calibration, streamflow and hydrograph analysis, combined drainage and water system analysis, hydraulic design, and field data collection and calculations.br br Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
