Bachelors degree in Accounting. Foreign equivalent degree accepted. 3 years experience as a Controller or Accountant. 3 years experience as a Controller or Accountant to include experience with accounts payable AP, accounts receivable AR, monthly bank and custodial cash accounts and balance sheet reconciliations, and to document and create efficiencies and accounting process changes. Proven ability to apply US generally accepted accounting principles US GAAP to audit accounting entries, analyze general ledger GL accounts, and report noncompliance issues. Proven ability to manage and track loan repayments. Proven ability to use Excel and Microsoft Office. Proven ability to use accounting software to prepare financial statements, book entries, and find relative accounting reports. Proven ability to perform monthend duties including financial reviews and audits, monthly accrual, adjusting journal entries AJEs, and straightline rent entries.
