Requires a bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in engineering or a related field and 8 years of experience in the position offered or 8 years of experience performing product engineering for variable frequency drives, including medium voltage applications. Requires 5 years of experience managing engineering change orders for SAP and Variant Configurator bill of material structures. Also requires 5 years of experience performing project planning and resource assignment including establishing target dates and priorities within the team; determining the usage of relevant tools and processes including using internal and external network to keep track of implementations; developing and implementing cost reduction initiatives and evaluating optimal disposition of affected inventory; collaborating and coordinating with Quality and Reliability engineering to implement design changes for improved reliability; and providing input and participating in discussions regarding technology content and development for future for medium voltage drive technology landscape, stateoftheart external technology and current and future customer needs. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.
