Must have three years of experience as a Postdoctoral Research Associate, Assistant Professor, Lecturer or related in engineering as well as practical industry experience as an Energy Scientist, including experience inbr br Researching Energy Efficiency Carbon Neutral Design in Mechanical Engineering, with specific attention towards thermal efficiency and maintenance costs;br br Researching product attributes to ensure energy efficiency metrics and efficiency score formulas reflect everyday customer use;br br Developing energy efficiency metrics for products and mathematical equations that translate product attributes, performance, and the energy efficiency metrics into a customer and government agency intuitive efficiency score;br br Prior successful work with a diverse student population; andbr br Publishing peerreviewed scientific and professional publications in the renewable energy field.br br Telecommuting permitted up to 100 depending on the Universitys pandemic policies; employee must reside within normal commuting distance of WWUs office in Bellingham, Washington.
