Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field plus two years or Bachelors degree plus five progressive years of maintenance engineering management experience. Must have at least two years of experience in each of the following 1. Performing machine installations, qualifications, and upgrades; 2. Managing the design, planning, construction, and maintenance of pharmaceutical buildings, equipment, and facilities; 3. Planning, budgeting, and scheduling facility modifications including estimates on equipment, labor, materials, and other related costs; 4. Implementing engineering maintenance activities including preventive and breakdown maintenance of manufacturing and packaging equipment and utilities, calibration of equipment and instruments, maintenance contracts, and inventory of spare parts; Developing preventative maintenance procedures to meet cGMP requirements; 5. Establishing service contracts and managing contractor activities; and 6. Leading continuous improvement initiatives with an emphasis on error reduction, lean waste elimination, and reduced process variation that improve product safety, quality, and efficiency. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
