This position requires a Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field, plus five years of experience as a Electrical Engineer, Electromechanical Engineer, or related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept 8 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer, Electromechanical Engineer, or or related occupation. Per 20 CFR 656.17h4, any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Additionally, the applicant must have experience with 1 Mechanical systems and material resource planning; 2 Electrical design, conceptualizing and implementing design ideas into product; 3 Preparing, checking, and coordinating the ontime release of documentation to support designs; 4 Selecting proper electrical components i.e. power supplies that meet certain product specific specifications Voltage, Current, Frequency, etc.; 5 Troubleshooting and testing electrical equipment i.e. power supplies and inverters and electrical related issues; and 6 Operating basic electrical testing equipment such as Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes.
