The Project EngineerSecurity will be based out of the companys Charlotte field office located at 901 Center Park Drive, Charlotte, North Carolina 28217. However, because the company has numerous customers nationwide, some travel is required, as the incumbent will occasionally and on a shortterm basis be deployed to various customer sites. Candidates must therefore be willing to travel to various unanticipated locations throughout the United States on an ongoing basis.br br Candidates must possess, at minimum, a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electric Power Systems Engineering or related. All candidates must also possess knowledge, as evidenced by passing a basic technical proficiency test, of at least four of the six following subject matter areas 1 electric power systems and related network integrity and security involving industrial control system security issues, technical controls, and power system security assessments, policies, plans, and procedures; 2 SDN security networks, including the design, build, testing and maintenance of SDN security network solutions and the discovery, articulation, testing and documentation of network traffic flows; 3 design, build, configuration, testing, and maintenance of hackerresistant Substation OT LAN, WAN, and related security infrastructures, including the use and deployment of Intrusion Detection Systems, Firewalls, and other associated security tools; 4 Authentication Tools for IT security systems, including the design, build, and maintenance of such tools and knowledge of technologies such as Active Directory, RADIUS server systems, and local authentication tools; 5 use, configuration, and operation of IEDs; and 6 protective relay engineering theory, operation, and applications. Note All candidates for all engineering positions at the company must pass a basic technical proficiency test. Candidates must also be willing to comply with the companys DrugFree and TobaccoFree policies.
