EducationalExperiential Requirements Bachelors degree in architecture, civil engineering, structural engineering, construction management, or a related field, and five years of construction project management or cost controls related experience.br br Skills Requirementsbr Experience producing detailed quantity takeoffs using the latest software and applications.br Ability to understand architectural and structural drawings, project scope reports, narratives, and specifications.br Ability to produce accurate cost estimates from high level concept estimates through detailed construction document estimates.br Experience generating value engineering ideas to reduce cost while maintaining quality.br Experience in liaising with architects and engineers and reconciliation with CMs or other estimating offices.br Experience using advanced 2D3D estimating software including eTakeoff, ProEst, CostX, Bluebeam, or Revit to determine quantity and magnitude of construction scope items.br Experience following project management institute PMI guidelines on levels of accuracy and precision, rules of performance measurement, and preparing accurate time, cost, material, and labor estimates for all levels of design.br Experience preparing construction schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project software.br Knowledge of construction techniques and systems, structural design principles, and sizing of MEP equipment based on design loads.br br Travel Requirements 25 domestic travel.
