Earned PhD, DrPH or other appropriate doctoral degree in public health or a health science related field from a regionally accredited collegebr or university. Must have experience teaching public health courses, at both graduate and undergraduate level; commitment to mentoringbr students in both their coursework and research; commitment to diversity, equity and inclusiveness; possess an established record of externalbr research funding support; strong scholarship and peer reviewed publication record; experience in interdisciplinary research collaborations;br strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.br A successful candidate will have research expertise and experience in conducting research on health disparities and addictions. The facultybr member will have an established track record of scientific publications and research dissemination that includes local, regional, and nationalbr presentations at conferences, seminars, symposia, and community outreach events. Successful candidates will need to have a demonstratedbr track record in or potential for securing external grant awards from such agencies as the National Institutes of Health, Centers for Diseasebr Control and Prevention, National Science Foundation, andor other funding agencies.
