Must have a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field plus three 3 years of experience in the position offered or a related position. Employer will accept Masters degree in stated field of study in meeting the Bachelors degree requirement. Pre or post Masters degree experience accepted. Must have three 3 years of experience with all of the following Application and REST API development in Python, Java, and Javascript with modular design programming; Linux command line usage and Linux services; Network communications and encryption; Implementing complex distributed compute systems with Apache Spark using Pyspark, Scala; Cloud computing environments; Data modeling, data architecture with knowledge of SQL to query data from relational databases; Supervised, Unsupervised Machine Learning algorithms including Clustering and frameworks including scikit learn and Data Mining; Security design of applications and data services; Kerberos, Active Directory and LDAP; Performing data analysis including extracting raw data, applying statistics to data, cleaning data using various python packages including Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib.
