Two 2 years of experience supporting application operations and production of internal and publicfacing software systems and services within an AWS cloud environment, ensuring availability, resiliency, scalability, and performance. Prior experience must include two 2 years of experience driving handson software development of scripts and tools to automate processes; implementing robust monitoring and alerting patterns across services; developing dashboards and reports on services to drive down the MTTD and MTTR on platform incidents; collaborating and partnering with other teams to ensure optimal endtoend system performance and resiliency across all backend services; driving performance and capacity validation analysis for software services; applying AWS patterns and technologies including spot instances, dynamic autoscaling and EKS to optimize resource usage and AWS spend; conducting, documenting, and presenting root cause analysis documents to share incident insights and findings with the broader engineering organization; creating and managing global configurations; and implementing security controls to enforce limits on communications within the environment for systems to operate within normal parameters.
