Bachelors Degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Information Systems Technology and Information Assurance, or Computer Science and 5 years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered or 5 years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience utilizing RDBMS systems Oracle, and PostgreSQL; utilizing NoSQL database systems Cassandra, and DynamoDB; administering databases, including automated installation, configuration, and performing patches and upgrades; utilizing backup and recovery tools Oracle RMAN, and Postgres PGDump; utilizing database replication solutions Oracle GoldenGate and AWS DMS; securing databases, administering user and role access to database objects; working with application developers to design database schemas, tune queries, optimize database performance, and troubleshoot production issues; working with programming languages Shell and Python; utilizing telemetry tools Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk; working with development tools Jenkins and Git; automating the configuration management for databases programmatically and using tools Ansible, Chef and Puppet; and utilizing Presto and Zeppelin.br br Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or expertise.
