The position requires the minimum of a Bachelors degree in Metallurgical Engineering or Materials Science Engineering plus 5 years progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. The position also requires metallurgical experience performing root cause analysis; experience in scanning electron microscopy, optical microscopy, spectrometer, and grain size; experience in Advanced Product Quality Planning APQP; knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems; and knowledge of Quality, Safety, and Environmental practices for manufacturing plants. This position requires domestic travel up to 15 of the work schedule. Applicants with any suitable combination of education, training, or experience are acceptable.
