1 year experience with design of coastal structures such as breakwaters, revetments, and beaches; 1 year experience developing and implementing numerical modeling studies, including wave propagation penetration and hydrodynamics modeling; 1 year experience with plume dispersion, flushing studies, and sediment transport and morphological evolution assessments; 1 year experience with Coastal Engineering software packages for modeling of hydrodynamics, waves, sediment dynamics, morphology and water quality, such as MIKE21, Delft3D, SWAN, or SMC; 1 year of experience with programming software such as Matlab; 1 year experience with fasttime navigation simulation software such as SHIPMA; mooring analysis and downtime assessment software such as Optimoor; and slope stability software such as SlopeW; requires travel approximately 20 percent of time both domestically and internationally.
