Must possess a Juris Doctor in Law and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a Law Clerk or Legal Administrator role. Must also possess work experience or course work experience with i Creditors Rights law; ii Federal and California Fair Debt Collections Practice Act; iii Legal procedure for the lifecycle of a lawsuit including post judgment; iv Civil litigation practices; v drafting civil litigation documents such as motions and dismissals; vi reviewing legal pleadings and documents including lawsuits, default packages, and motions, to ensure accuracy for filing with respective courts and compliance with federal and state regulations; vii reviewing account placement files; viii managing correspondence from clients and courts, facilitating communication between consumers, consumers employers, and consumers attorneys as necessary to resolve accountssuits; ix managing procedural deadlines, making sure suits are within the statute of limitation, ensuring timely service of process and that filing deadlines are met; and x must be Licensed to practice law in the State of California.
