Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or closely related engineering field willing to accept foreign education equivalent plus five 5 years of experience in product or manufacturing engineering role. Experience must include lean manufacturing, lean six sigma tools; working around heavy machinery in a fast paced environment; root cause analysis and problem solving through data analysis; working with CAD; creating new part numbers and preparing Bill of Materials for new part numbers; identifying and implementing improvements to processes, tools and tooling; consumables manufacturing as well as manufacturing transfer and New Product Introduction NPI in a Manufacturing Product Engineering role; reduction in process variation, waste reduction, standard work creation, preventative maintenance, process and quality upsets and optimized cell design; implementing Lean Manufacturing and Statistical Process Control concepts and initiatives; performing Product Supplier Quality improvements and Tooling Design; and performing mechanical modeling with various software.
