Requires a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field plus 2 years of experience in a related occupation. Additional requirements 2 years of experience with structural analysis software in two or more of the following MicroStation, Geopak, AutoCad, Revit, STAAD, ETABS, RISA and Microsoft Office. 1 year of structural engineering design experience in Illinois Tollway and Illinois Department of Transportation IDOT bridges including superstructure and foundations, IDOT sound abatement walls, and deep foundation systems including piles or caissons. 2 years of structural analysis experience in buildings and bridges. 2 years of experience with analysis software including RISA3D, STAAD, Tedds, DCALC, LPile, LEAP, and MathCAD. 1 year of structural engineering design experience in steel and concrete buildings or portions of structures as required for renovations or repairs including design experience, mixed use residential buildings, midrise buildings and airport terminal buildings. 2 years of experience with inspecting existing buildings and bridges.br br Domestic travel to job sites up to 25 of total duty time.
