Masters degree in Civil or Water Resource Engineering, including graduate or undergraduatelevel coursework in ecological engineering, or the foreign degree equivalent, plus one 1 year of experience conducting hydrologic studies, open channel hydraulic analysis, and associated modeling activities. Experience must include six months of experience inbr br 1. Working with complex hydraulic models utilizing HECRAS software;br 2. Utilizing GIS software to present results of flood inundation, wetland, watershed, and land cover analyses;br 3. Utilizing threedimensional computer aided drafting software;br 4. Performing hydrologic analysis utilizing various methods including single event and continuous flow models, regional regression equations, and gauge data analysis;br 5. Conducting analyses and technical writing for stream restoration projects;br 6. Preparing hydraulic and stream restoration construction plans; andbr 7. Working with local, state, and federal permitting requirements including FEMA floodplain regulatory framework, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Section 404 permitting, and Department of Fish and Wildlife permitting.br Position requires Engineer in Training EIT certification and ability to sit for Professionalbr Engineering license within two years.br Experience may be gained concurrently.
