Position requires a Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, or a closely related field of study, plus 5 years of experience in the job offered, or as a Senior Software Engineer, or in a related occupation. Specific experience must include 5 years of experince with each of the following performing software development, implementation using C, C14, C17, including Boost and STL libraries; developing and testing software in a Linux environment; utilizing Git and Gitlab or Bitbucket to work on version control systems; working with continuous integration pipelines including Jenkins; debugging source code using GDB and Valgrind; performing interprocess communication using various methods including shared resources and communications protocols TCP, UDP, and HTTP; supporting scaled services architectures using multithreaded programming; designing and implementing APIs using REST principles; refactoring existing code to enhance functionality and scaling; utilizing data structures and ensuring data integrity in multithreaded environments; monitoring performance of applications to ensure they meet required specifications; data modeling including SQL or NoSQL technologies; and utilizing Jira for activity tracking. Option to work remotely with required travel to the Deerfield, IL headquarters at least once a week.
