Requiresbr Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from ABETaccredited university;br 3 years associated at all levels of design, analysis, and manufacturing.br 3 years in analysis software and knowledge of current design codes and standards including American Society of Mechanical Engineers ASME, American Society of Testing and Materials ASTM, American Welding Society AWS, American Institute of Steel Construction AISC 360, American Society of Civil Engineers 7 ASCE 7 and Guobiao Standards GB.br 3 years of direct engineering and design in steel, concrete, and aluminum structures.br 3 years with amusement ride engineering, mechanical design, shop drawing creation, shop drawing review, metallurgical strength analysis, metallurgical fatigue analysis, weld analysis, finite element analysis FEA, wind engineering, and earthquake engineering.br 3 years in Solidworks and ANSYS Workbench and PTC CREO, Mathcad, Autodesk ACAD, LIMIT CAE Simulation Solutions, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.br 1 year of directly performing facility acceptance testing FAT and site acceptance testing SAT.br Passing of the NCEES FE exam.
