Doctor of Medicine or foreign equivalent, plus threeyear residency in Internal Medicine.br br Internal Medicine clinical training must have included evaluating, diagnosing, and providing acute and urgent care to patients with emergent or acute illnesses; ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests; performing complete and focused physical exams; formulating treatment plans; managing short and longterm medical conditions; and counseling and educating patients and family members on health maintenance, disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. Must be eligible for Medical License with NY State Board of Medicine and have passed FLEX examination or equivalent i.e. NMBE III or USMLE III.
