Must have a U.S. or foreign equivalent Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Production Engineering or related plus two 2 years of experience working as an Engineer with an automotive manufacturer or supplier. In the alternative, must have a U.S. or foreign equivalent Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Production Engineering or related plus five 5 years of experience working as an Engineer with an automotive manufacturer or supplier. The required years of experience must include experience working in the design and development of automotive plastics and sheetmetal parts; working in GDT Geometric Dimension and Tolerancing; tool design and build using structural mechanics and CAE analysis and results; leading activities and preparing DVPR and DFMEA reports; experience with modules including FEM design experience in headlamps, engine cooling systems, bumper and fascia; DFMEA testing; and experience with CAD in 3D modeling with CATIA V5 or Unigraphics NX5 or later versions, FEM, SAP PLM, S4M, DFSS, and Team Center
