Requirements Minimum of one year professional experience working as a hairstylist or hairdresser. Specific requirements Minimum one year of work experience with round brush styling and blow drying in salon. Minimum one year work experience with balayage and ombre techniques, in addition to one year of hands on experience with updo and wig styling. Minimum of one year of experience with color mixing, hair coloring, highlighting, permanent waving, and hair cutting. Must have one year experience with beard shaping and trimming. Must be willing to obtain a VA Cosmetology license.
