Understanding and application of the principles of epidemiology and biostatistics to investigate causal and noncausal relationships. Clinical medical knowledge at the MDDO training level, including background in pathology, diagnosis, medical imaging, pharmacology, and basic medical sciences. Proficiency in SAS, STATA, SPSS or R, and Microsoft Office Suites. Proficiency in reviewing, analyzing and summarizing medical and epidemiologic literature and effectively communicating scientific information in a form and language that is suitable for the target audience.
