Requires a J.D., LL.M., or foreign equivalent.br br Requires at least 6 months of prior experience as a Trainee Attorney, Foreign Associate, or Law Clerk working in the International Arbitration group of a global law firm. 6 months of experience must include performing legal research and applying knowledge of Latin American legal systems to support attorneys representing international clients in complex international investment and commercial arbitration matters, focusing on disputes involving the mining, oil and gas and infrastructure sectors in Latin America; conducting research on topics of international law, investment arbitration and Latin American laws and regulations to use in preparation of legal opinions, pleadings and briefs; and conducting research on potential arbitrator candidates for appointment in arbitration proceedings under different rules.
