Position requires a Master of Science or foreign degree equivalent in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, plus three 3 years of experience in job offered, as an automotive engineer, or in a related occupation.br br Education or experience must includebr br 1. Knowledge of powertrain systems, including emissions control system functions and regulatory requirements;br 2. Knowledge of OBD system functions and regulatory requirements;br 3. Experience with testing and data acquisition systems in the automotive field INCA;br 4. Experience in interacting with regulatory agencies CARB, EPA;br 5. Experience with use and programming of automated testing and data analysis tools ie. LabVIEW, MATLAB, Simulink and methods;br 6. Experience with emissions test equipment bench analyzers, PEMS, etc.; andbr 7. Powertrain development experience in the area of calibration.
