Masters degree or foreign equivalent degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automotive systemsMSEN, or related field, and 4 years of experience gained at any time in an engineering or technical role. Included within the 4 years of experience, must have gained experience in the following embedded controls systems; fault detection, fault handling and diagnostics; modelbased design using MATLABSimulink; developing and implementing Hardware in Loop test methods; analyzing and interpreting control algorithms for engine architecture to improve product quality; performing calibration, tuning and testing activities; troubleshooting systems engineering issues using problemsolving methods 7Steps; real time testing and decoding using at least one communications protocol CAN, LIN, TCPIP, and troubleshooting inmission and service bay diagnostic related issues; PLM tools PTC Integrity; performing data analysis and using results to develop, test, verify, and validate control and diagnostic features.br br In lieu of a masters degree, will also accept a bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automotive systemsMSEN, or related field, and 6 years of postbachelors, progressive experience in the above listed skills.
