Candidates must have at least a Masters degree in Transportation and Logistics, International Transportation Management, or a related field and at least 18 months of professional experience working in transportation logistics within the shipping industry. Must have at least 18 months of experience participating in shipboard activities including loading and discharging operations, cargo, bilge, and ballasting operations, and daily ship maintenance, repairs, and inspections. Must have at least 18 months of experience conducting standard administrative work for cargo vessels, including preparing arrival and departure documents, organizing training and drills, and maintaining safety records. Must have at least 18 months of experience performing navigational tasks including overseeing the navigational watch, calculating position figures for the vessel planner, and assisting in the updating of navigational publications. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ECDIS Navigator. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
