Minimum Requirementsbr br Masters degree or foreign equivalent in analytical chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related field and 2 years of postMasters work experience in the job offered or a Scientistrelated occupation in a modern analytical biochemistry lab.br br Experience must includebr br br 2 years of experience with each of the followingbr Operating and maintaining LCMS systems including UPLCs, Xevo G2, Xevo G2S, and LCT Premier mass spectrometers on a daily basis.br Using all of the following Mass Spectrometry software for protein characterization MassLynx, MaxEnt1, Protein Matrics, and BiopharmaLynx.br Interpreting mass spectrometry spectra accurately for intact protein analysis, including for complicated samples.br Summarizing results in reports efficiently, including for complicated samples.br Carrying out peptide mapping work, including preparing samples and acquiring data using LCMS systems.br Being able to carry out intact mass analysis and peptide mapping work with a small amount of a sample a few micrograms.br Calibrating various mass spectrometers and troubleshooting logically to identify the causes when a LCMS system has any issues.
