Position requires a Bachelors degree in Electrical engineering or a related field, or equivalent and 7 years of work experience in the job offered or a marinerelated occupation.br br Position also requires experience inbr br 1 Technical Vessel Operations Onboard Globally Trading Vessels;br 2 Sailed Automation Electrical Officer AEO onboard Liquefied Natural Gas and Oil tankers;br 3 Cryogenic liquid natural gas cargo management;br 4 Satellite radio communications maritime;br 5 Electrical Power Generation and Distribution;br 6 High Voltage 3 phase power;br 7 Safety shutdown systems;br 8 Programmable Logic Controller programming, repair, troubleshooting and commissioning;br 9 Computer Networking, Industrial protocols and cyber security;br 10 Project management and execution;br 11 International and Regional Maritime Rules and Regulations;br 12 Environmental regulations driving lowering carbon and impact in the maritime industry;br 13 Shutdowns and perform safe work on complex systems;br 14 Battery Uninterruptable Power Supply UPS backup power technologies;br 15 Boilers, Steam Plant, feed water and turbine control systems;br 16 Hydraulics including valve remote control;br 17 Fire Gas Detection systems operations and repair;br 18 Tank level and gauging systems;br 19 Marine environmental systems technologies including ballast water treatment systems, exhaust gas scrubbers, and Select Catalytic Reducers SCR;br 20 Explosion proof hazardous zone safety regulations;br 21 Gas Turbines, Reciprocating Combustion Engines, Fuel Lubrication systems, Cooling water and chemical dosing, and Compressed air; andbr 22 Technical Advocate with Regulatory bodies.br br In lieu of a Bachelors degree the employer will accept 2 years of work experience.br br Section H.14 defines the experience and skills that a qualified candidate must possess to meet the actual minimum requirements for the position.
