Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or closely related technical field and three 3 years of experience in the position offered, Data Engineer or closely related position. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelors degree and five 5 years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in the above positions. Must have demonstrated experience in the following Utilizing Python scripting and programming techniques to perform data pipeline tasks, including data extraction, transformation and loading ETL and using ETL orchestration tools such as Airflow to manage pipeline run schedules and dependencies; Querying and managing different modern data warehouse technologies and understanding of differences, advantages disadvantages of each including both relational database management systems RDBMS such as Postgres, AWS Aurora and Massively Parallel Processing MPP systems for analytics such as AWS Redshift or Snowflake; Utilizing Structured Query Language SQL for data mining and manipulation, analysis, and modeling of data sets to ensure data is reliable to support business growth; Reviewing business requirements and translating them into viable technical architectures, database schemas, data models, and designs; Utilizing Extract Transform Load ETL processes to read and extract data, transform as per the business requirements and store the data by building dataflowmarts and pipelines; Building solutions integrating across enterprise sales and financeaccounting systems, including Salesforce andor NetSuite; Utilizing data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau and Power Business Intelligence BI to generate reports and build dashboards of business metrics and analyze data and create data insights; and Utilizing Cloud Computing Tools, including AWS, S3 buckets, Aurora Database, or EC2 to build automation and scheduled Data Refreshes.
