The letter provided a full description of the specific job opportunity and invited each laidoff worker to apply for the position. As a result of this effort, ATT received zero 0 applications for the job opportunity. Accordingly, all potentially qualified U.S. workers were notified and given the opportunity to submit their resume for consideration. Thus, the notice and consideration requirements were met in accordance with DOLs rules.
