Bachelors degree in Biology, Chemistry or related life sciences field willing to accept foreign education equivalent plus seven 7 years of experience in job or as scientist in research lab environment within life sciences sector or, alternatively, a Masters degree in Biology, Chemistry or related life sciences field willing to accept foreign education equivalent and five 5 years of experience in job or as scientist in research lab environment within life sciences sector. Or PhD degree in Biology, Chemistry or related life sciences willing to accept foreign education equivalent. Experience must include searching current scientific literature for potential relevant methods and techniques to acquire necessary information to fill technical gaps; working with molecular biology techniques including cloning, qPCR and NGS; working with cell biology techniques including RNAi and CRISPR genome editing; and conducting data analysis including outputs from NGS and qPCR. Skills and experience may be gained through any combination of employment, internship, fellowship, coursework or graduate studies.
