Employer will accept a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Sciences or related field and 3 years of work experience in job offered or 3 years of related experience in project engineering or related role.br br Position also requiresbr br 1. Experience with specification, detailed design both hardware and software, qualification, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of control system products, in particular for the oil and gas industry subsea and surface.br 2. Experience in documenting and reviewing client requirements, controls philosophies and creatingdesigning schematics, PIDs, flow sheets, logic drawings, loop drawings, singleline diagrams, electrical wiring schematics, etc.br 3. Experience in programming using textual or visual coding languages such as function blocks, ladder logic and C, all applicable to missioncritical control systems.br 4. Experience working with DCS and SCADA systems and with protocols used in the oil and gas industry such as Modbus, OPC DAUA, CANbus, Profibus and TCPIP.br 5. Experience working with relevant codes, design, testing and regulatory standards for products used in a control systems, such as API 17F, IEC 61511, NFPA 70, API 500, ISA 5.1, ISA 101.1 and ISA 18.2.br 6. Detailed understanding of engineering processes with regard to document control, part number creation and reviewapproval processes.br 7. Experience in communicating with client to report progress, present results and align expectations.
